Alhamdulillah kami tiba di Airport Zurich dengan selamat dan excited. Lepas ambik kereta, Peugeot 5008 from AVIS we all terus tukar EURO to Swiss Franc and start our journey to the city centre of Zurich.
Ambik angin kat Zurich Park. Bunga kat belakang tu memang le cantik tetapi amatlah tidak harumnya he he he he...
Dhia Irdina enjoying every moment at the Park...
Beautiful scenery kan!!!!
After singgah menyinggah makan di Lucerne, we start the journey to Interlaken and place ourselves in a nice cosy place of Katy's Lodge. We arrived almost midnight but glad to see Katy was waiting for us. It was a tiring journey though.
Early morning we decided to go up to Jungfrouch but unfortunately due to fog, we decided not too. Thus, we all jalan2x to shoot photos nearby the town centre.
Look at the fog behind us....can't even see the Alps...
Eventually we decided to go to Lauterbrunnen and take a scenery train to Kleine Scheidegg. It's beautiful...MasyaAllah bumi Allah ini amat indah!!!! Syukran Ya Allah kerana memberi peluang kepada kami sekeluarga untuk menikmati keindahan bumi Mu ini.
Trummerbach Falls near Lauterbrunen....
In the scenery train from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg. Beautiful view from the train.....
This is Kleine Scheidegg.
Both Dhia & Humaira playing with snow. Kat Malaysia tak da snow so depa main le macam org tak pernah dpt snow he he he. Dulu kat Beijing pun snow tak turun gak although we went in Winter. Now you guys enjoy le playing with a real snow in Kleine Scheidegg.
From Kleine Scheidegg, we came down to Lauterbrunnen and continue our journey to Lugano. The journey should take approximately 2 hours only however, due to ribut salji at the Alps, we had to take another route i.e. using the Gothard Road Tunnel. The Gotthard Tunner is just under 16.4 km in length below the St. Gotthard Pass. It is the third-longest road tunnel in the world after Norway's Laerdal Tunnel (24.5 km) and China's Zhongnanshan Tunnel (18 km). We arrived Lugano almost midnight and on arrival at the hotel Antigo Residents, the hotel is closed. Thus, we had to check ourselves in at Bellevue Au Lac Hotel in front of Lugano Lake.
And this is the hotel.....
Lugano Lake - view from the hotel. Lugano is a city in the south of Switzerland which border Italy. It is the 9th largest city in Switzerland by population and the largest city in Ticino. The people here mostly speak Italian. The city lies on Lake Lugano, surrounded by the mountains of the Lugano Prealps. Its warm summers and the fact that in recent years it has attracted an ever growing number of celebrities, entertainers and successful athletes have given it the nickname of the 'MONTE CARLO OF SWITZERLAND".
As the car rental is registered in Swiss, so we had to deliver the car in Lugano and take another car registered in Italy to enable us to travel in Italy. Thus, we had to take a train to Como to get the car rental. So this is the train station in Lugano.
